Contractor: follow-through
Telling a callback attempt from a confirmed next step
A logged callback attempt shows someone tried. Whether they reached the client and agreed what happens next is a separate question. This view keeps those events apart so staff check the right thing.
Four distinct events
Attempted: a call was placed. Connected: someone answered. Replied: an email was sent. Confirmed: staff recorded the agreed next step, such as a site visit time. These are illustrative status labels for this example, not new performance metrics.
Unconfirmed is a question to answer
A missing record can mean the call happened on a mobile phone, the client replied elsewhere, or the step was simply not logged. Unconfirmed items appear for staff review so a person can find out and close the gap.
Staff check AI summaries
AI may summarize a connected call or reply and suggest whether a next step was agreed. Summaries and transcripts can miss details, so staff confirm against the actual conversation before marking a request complete.
Decide what evidence marks a request confirmed, where staff record next steps agreed outside the system, and who follows up on unconfirmed items.
